In-Cab Driver Aid
The RIBAS® Display is an in-cab driver aid that encourages drivers to improve their driving style. Drivers are constantly reminded of the safe and eco-friendly driving styles they have been taught resulting in sustainable improvements in driver performance. This will reduce fuel consumption, carbon emissions, and accident rates while improving passenger comfort.

The RIBAS® Display operates in conjunction with MiX Telematics' Premium fleet management solutions.  RIBAS is an acronym for:

R = Ride Comfort (Cornering)
I =  excessive Idling
B = harsh Braking
A = harsh Acceleration
S = over Speeding

Whenever a parameter comes close to being exceeded, the amber light illuminates, alerting the driver to a potential problem and thereby allowing corrective action to be taken.  The amber light is intended purely as a warning sign; no record of an infringement is made against the driver by Fleet Manager at this time. 

However, should the amber warning be ignored and the parameter exceeded, the infringement is recorded by Fleet Manager and the red light illuminates.

The RIBAS® Display panel is simple to Install with a single cable connection to the MIX premium solution.

The unit can be configured in a number of different ways to provide customers with the most effective method of delivering alerts to a driver.
